Elijah Bond, a businessman from Maryland, obtained the patent for The EVIL Ouija board in the 1890s and marketed them to the public as a parlor game. Although it can be purchased in the toy aisle of some stores to this day, the Ouija is actually a very powerful tool used to communicate with spirits and should be treated with care and respect.
