Child leukemia is the most common
type of cancer. It usually occurs in children and teenagers. It is also called
as the cancer of white blood cells. It happens when abnormal white blood cells
form in the bone marrow. These abnormal white blood cells travel into the
bloodstream and pile up in the bone marrow. Abnormal white blood cells are
unhealthy and don’t protect the body from any infection. In leukemia, the
leukemic cells grow at a faster rate and then crowd the bone marrow.
Cases of leukemia in children are increasing day by day that is
why large numbers of childhood cancer
foundations have been established. Child cancer day is celebrated on 15
February every year. The purpose of these international organizations is to
promote increased appreciation and the best understandings of issues and
challenges faced by the patients and survivors. These organizations also
highlight the access to treatment and care for all the child leukemia patients. Most of the organizations are
non-profiting and people do charity and give donations to these organizations.
Most of the children of leukemia belong to the lower middle class
families and they cannot afford the expensive treatment of cancer. Government
should support health care departments. Health departments should hire the best oncology pediatric in every hospital.
The patients of leukemia should be treated equally whether they belong from a
higher class family or lower class family. There should be no discrimination.
Childhood cancer is the most prominent issue nowadays. Death rate
in children is increasing day by day. This is a very alarming situation for
leukemic patients and their families and this needs to be considered. Cancer childhood stage is very
dangerous. It needs to be diagnosed properly and on time. People do charity and
give donations to childhood cancer
organisation so that every leukemic patient can get the best treatment.
