Bruce Turkel explains the importance of texting

5.30 in the early morning is the most suitable time for jogging. Miami summer is relatively cold in the morning as the sun is still not visible at all. Even though there are only a few cars on the road, they cannot be relied upon for safe jogging as most of the riders are late night sleepers who were often hooked to their mobile phones texting their loved ones.
According to Bruce Turkel, the reason for the new found interest in texting is evident on people who are under 40. They avoid voice calls as they are more comfortable with text messages. These texting sessions start with making an appointment in the first sentences itself by asking are you free to talk?
Yesterday Bruce Turkeland his wife went out for lunch in a pizza shop and found a table over which a woman and her children were waiting for their pizza. He found all of them engaged in their phones furiously typing and they were fully engrossed in their private digital domain. The children were listening to the music on earphones in addition to their typing stint. This gave him a feeling that texting has become ubiquitous and a preferred method of communication for the new generation.
Bruce Turkel wonders how families can communicate through texts the subtleties of their lives, how friends can find out real things about friends and build relationships, how businessmen can make their customers understand their concern  for them when communication is reduced to bon mots or acronyms like lol, brb, etc. For more information visit website #bruceturkel.com
