Chinese clothing dates back to the Shang Dynasty (1600 BC-1046 BC), where men wore clothes with wide sleeves, and women donned skirts and long robes. During the Han Dynasty (206 BC-220 AD), the Hanfu, consisting of loose robes and broad-sleeved jackets, became hugely popular. The Tang Dynasty (618-907 AD) saw the era of the Manchu-style clothing, which later became the traditional wear in China.
