Drone mapping

Use drone images for mapping large areas. Take hundreds of photos of the location and then process them into workable files.

Mapping large areas

When performing drone mapping flights, larger areas on the ground with different runways are mapped. It flies in multiple directions to ensure that sufficient data is collected from all sides. During the flight, hundreds of photos of the location are taken and then processed into workable CAD files, 2D and 3D digital terrain models (DTM), volume measurements, 3D point clouds, Orthomosaic or orthophotos. Taking the photos is done with very high accuracy by means of GPS / RTK positioning of the drone and by means of any support for land surveying on the ground.

Application

The files accurately represent the 'As-is' situation and are then used in a 3D design process, progress reporting, construction planning or for GIS applications. Think of cadastral maps or urban development.

Special software is able to extract features such as curbs, signs, road markings, trees, roofs, etc. from the orthophotos.

Cooperation

If desired, we can, in collaboration with Smart AIS, use static 3D laser scanning on the ground for you. This creates a complete 3D image of both outside and inside. In this way we can always provide optimal completeness of data. To get more information visit #Drone mapping
