Next step is soaking the cotton ball in rubbing alcohol. After soaking, let it absorb some rubbing alcohol. Now this cotton ball can be rubbed over the blades very well from top to bottom. After completing this process ensure that no residue is left. Next step is oiling of the hinge of the hair scissors. Hinge often acquires rust as a result of continuous use by barbers. This can lead to difficulty while opening or closing the scissors. To avoid such situations, the hinge is properly oiled so that no obstruction while cutting the hair is produced by them. When the oiling of the hinge is completed one can replace the blades in its original position using a screwdriver.
