What is being vegan?

The human being has used animals for years to meet different needs in their day-to-day life, food, clothing, transportation or entertainment, in some cases, displaying quite a great animal cruelty. However, with the passage of time, the human being has advanced and has begun to realize that animals also suffer, and that their suffering is not necessary for the correct advancement of humanity, in fact, the origin of veganism , which we will talk about later, arises from this same thing. Veganism emerges as a cry from society that has empathy with these creatures and is tired of seeing this mistreatment and cruelty closing their eyes to these facts.
Veganism rather than a way of eating or a diet as many people might think, is a way of life. Being vegan implies avoiding in practice any type or form of exploitation as well as cruelty in relation to animals, regardless of whether it is for food, clothing or any other type of purpose.
Being vegan is contributing to the animal world and the environment, helping them in most cases. And we name the environment because being vegan, you also contribute in some way to reduce pollution, since the meat industry is one of the most polluting there is, this is another reason to become vegan, reasons that we will talk more ahead.
In short, if we have to give a definition of what it means to be a vegan or what it is to be a vegan, we would say that a vegan is someone who loves the world, the animal, the environment, and tries to live in harmony with both, someone who in his life daily does not consume products of animal origin, neither to eat, nor to dress, nor for cosmetics and neither consumes any type of entertainment that involves the use of animals.
