Jeffrey Neese

One of my most memorable experiences in my career was working with at-risk youth at Mesa Junior High.  During the programs, I was assigned along with other training staff personnel, to lead the youth in a bootcamp experience including physical fitness and team building exercises.  Over the course of the 8-week program, these youth improved their outlook on life, their health and discipline improved, and they became productive and promising members of society.  Working with these youth encouraged community engagement and trust between the police and the less fortunate communities in which these youth lived.  It was inspiring to be a part of helping them improve their lives in many aspects so they could have a better chance at succeeding in the world.
