Are there any reasons your agent is not willing to work with you anymore?

Know that plenty of house owners think that every real estate agent is desperate to get the opportunity to sell their houses. For that, the agents will do anything virtually to have the listing. Yes, the agents will need to have a decent collection of houses. They will also need to sell commercial buildings too. But that doesn’t mean they will always agree to accept your job offer as an agent.
There are a few things every agent likes to do. They have their preferences too regarding this job. If you have been searching to hire any specific agent and not being able to get ahold on him or her, chances are the agent doesn’t want to work with you.
Also, you can always decide to avoid this hassle and delegate this job of house selling and buyers hunting to an investor. The investor will buy your house for cash and then sell it. We buy houses in Chicago, so if you are living nearby and planning to sell your house, you can always contact us.
In this article, we will talk about why a realtor agent would not like to work with you.
Buyer’s agent
Some agents would like to do only work from a buyer’s side. Yes, every buyer’s agent is also a real estate agent and you can always try to offer the job to a specific one of your mind. But if that particular one has a preference and is experienced in being a buyer’s agent, chances are he or she might refuse the offer fro you.
If you refuse to be on the ‘Multi-list’
This is a list that is operated by a group of agents. They have a mutual agreement with each other to share the listings. If you refuse your house to put in that list, you are basically reducing the chances of your house being sold to a good buyer.
Overpricing the house too much
A common mistake that many house owners make is that they overprice their house too much. An agent won’t like the fact if you refuge his or her advice on the expected pricing and give your own.
Not enough commission
Plenty of house owners don’t know the fact that can negotiate with the agent abut the commission rate. The average range of a real estate agent’s commission is6%. But you are allowed to negotiate to tune the commission rate down a bit.
However, if you insist on giving a commission that is too low, then the agent might decline your job proposal.
Not allowing to happen the ‘showings’
You shouldn’t say no to the ‘showings’ of your house no matter what. It reduces the chance of your house being sold.
Some additional reasons are-
Discriminatory showing
Not disclosing the defects
Your property is very far
You are always being dominating
Remember to consider your decision and instead of hiring an agent, you can sell your house to us, as we ‘buy homes Chicago’.
