Pac-Man (NES)

What makes the game challenging is the fact that Pac-Man has to avoid getting killed by the four staple ghosts that roam around the maze trying to find him. The multicolored ghosts are generated and regenerated in the center box. When a ghost touches him, Pac Man loses his current life. However, if he still has life points, he will regenerate after a while and the player can resume the game. The game will end if Pac-Man gets killed after using up all of his life points.
Pac-Man for NES can only fight back when he eats any of the four Power Pellets located near the maze’s corners. When he eats one of these, he is given a chance to eat the ghosts in a limited time. In this time period, the ghosts will turn blue and run slowly away. When the time is about to end, the ghosts’ colors become a blinking white until they turn back into their original colors and everything also turns back to normal.
