The idea of employing a Foreign domestic helper (外傭) is not a new concept. For centuries, people have had others working in their homes for compensation, whether it be for childcare, cleaning, or cooking. However, with the globalization of our world, more and more households are hiring workers from faraway countries to come and live with them. This phenomenon has brought about a new set of challenges, but also cultural exchange and a new way of viewing the world.
