Asphalt – This is a common material brought in use to make patios. It is known for being affordable and being versatile. Asphalt being flexible can bear different temperatures throughout every season. It also gives a flat look with a smooth surface. It can also be repaired easily if needed.

Pavers – The use of paving stones can also be done to create a good-looking patio. Pavers can be made with concrete and brick. It can be arranged in a variety of patterns and also comes in several patterns and shapes and also colours. They do get faded with time but as repair is easy it is not a big issue.

Natural stone – there are known and famous for their simplicity and organic look. Natural stone does not fade with time and so looks new even after getting older. Because of having irregular shape, it may take some effort for the installation process but can be used due to its highly beautiful appearance.

Gravel – Gravels have their advantages as well as disadvantages. On one side they are very easy to install and can be done at home and also give facility of drainage and is also cheaper.
