Why is it important to know about the cause of acne?

Acne or Acne Vulgaris is an inflammatory skin disease that occurs when the dead cells and oil clog the hair follicles. Due to this situation, pimples, spots, whiteheads, and blackheads appear on the skin.
Causation
It is crucial to know the cause of acne because the person suffering from it might be facing issues like inferiority complex, low self-esteem and in severe conditions, it may lead to depression. If the root cause of acne is known then you can work over the remedies to reduce the damaging effects of acne on your skin and especially face. Precautionary measures can be taken to avoid the triggering points of acne. According to a research, an increased level of emotional stress can lead to acne. So, you can avoid such situations to stop acne without any dermatological treatment in the case of mild acne. Some of the prominent factors, however, which can be considered as the cause of acne include;
Blockage of Follicle
Follicles, under the skin, are small packets that secrete and produce liquid. An oily liquid is produced by the glands and is called the sebum. This sebum, when growing hair through follicles, blocks the follicle and the oil starts building up. This oil, hair, sebum and skin cells form a clump that appears as a swelling and is attacked by the bacteria. As a result, a pimple starts developing with the action of Propionibacterium acnes bacteria.
Changes in hormones
The rising levels of androgen lead to acne. Androgens are male sex hormones, which develop male traits and biological activities. As the androgen level rises, the glands lining the skin enlarge, producing excess sebum. This sebum supports the growth of bacteria as it breaks down the cellular walls in pores.
Other Reasons
Other factors that can be considered as the cause of acne are the use of greasy products on skin including cosmetics, masks, and scrubs. Some people might also have inherited it from one of the parents. To get more information visit #https://www.monoskin.co/blog/acne/punca-jerawat-terjadi/.
