Real Reasons Why Women Wear Hijab In Islam

Hijab is a way of dressing for women that are of the Islamic faith. If there is a way of dressing that has come with a wide controversy over its use all over the world, Hijab will be number one. A lot has been written about this mode of dressing by Muslim women all over the world. The West, in particular, believed that it is a way of oppressing the womenfolk. But is this the reality of things as it is been preached by those that belonged to the Islamic faith? This is far from the truth when we look at it deeper.
Never A Sign Of Oppression
People, especially in the west, believe that the male folk used the issue of Foulard to oppress their female counterparts. Findings, however, showed the contrary. Women in Islam wear Turban for the following reasons among others:
•    Faith
•    Feminism
•    As a matter of choice.
None of the reasons above points to any form of oppression among the women in Islam.
Hijab In The Olympics
In the 2016 Rio Olympics games, a 19 years old Egyptian volleyball player Doaa Elghobashy decided to wear her onnet while she was competing against Germany. The idea caused a stir among the global viewers; however, the fact remains that she has been used to wearing the attire for over a decade of her life! According to her, it is a matter of her choice. In as much as she feels comfortable in it; then she should be allowed to be.
There Are Countless Women In Islam That Do Not Wear Hijab
The big question to ask is: Do every woman in Islam wear Hijab? The answer is a big no! If that be the case, then this issue of this dress code does not go beyond choice. It is a matter of choice not that of compulsion. For more information visit website #https://unhijab.com.
